Working With Us
Studio Guidelines.
Our guidelines exist to make every collaboration clear, respectful, and successful. Here's how we work and what we ask of our clients and collaborators.
Last updated: 1 January 2026
These guidelines are not a legal contract — they are a clear, honest expression of how Mossfield Studio operates, what makes projects succeed, and what we ask of every person we work with. Our formal legal terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
How We Work
Every project begins with a complimentary 60-minute Discovery Call. You can book this through our Contact page. During this call, we discuss your space, your aspirations, your timeline, and your budget. There is no obligation — and even if we aren't the right fit, we aim to leave you with useful guidance.
For full in-person projects, our minimum engagement is a single-room transformation starting from £3,500 (excluding materials). Virtual design sessions are available from £650 and are suitable for clients who prefer a self-managed approach. We do not have a minimum project size for material sourcing consultations.
A single-room project typically takes 6–10 weeks from Discovery Call to completion. Whole-home projects range from 4–9 months depending on scope and supplier lead times. Virtual design sessions are usually completed within 2–3 weeks of the initial call. All project timelines are clearly defined in the Project Agreement before work begins.
Minor adjustments are part of any creative process and are accommodated within reason. However, significant scope changes after the Concept Design has been approved may require a revised Project Agreement and additional fees. We always discuss any potential cost or timeline implications transparently before proceeding with changes.
We work across a wide range of budgets, from considered single-room refreshes to comprehensive whole-home transformations. What matters most to us is that any budget is allocated thoughtfully. We are honest about what can realistically be achieved and will never overpromise to win a project.
Every sustainability claim we make is supported by third-party certification, supplier audits, or verifiable documentation. We maintain a live Supplier Charter document that we review annually. Clients can request full material provenance information for any project at any time — we consider this a fundamental part of our service, not an optional extra.
By default, we photograph completed projects and may share imagery across our website, social platforms, and press releases. We always aim to show finished spaces at their best. If you would prefer your project remain private, please inform us before project completion and we will honour your request completely. We never share personal details or property addresses without explicit consent.
We take feedback seriously. If you have a concern about any aspect of your project or experience, please contact your lead designer in the first instance. If you feel your concern hasn't been addressed, you may escalate to our studio principal at [email protected]. We acknowledge all complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 14 days.
